Do you have pets?
I have cats, my boys, who keep me company. I make sure that items have been washed, where appropriate, and lint rolled before they are packaged. It is possible that a strand may make it through despite my efforts, and if you are very allergic to cats, thank you for taking a look at my shop, but best to find your treasures elsewhere.
How are you keeping down the shipping charges?
I am very aware of the ever-escalating cost of shipping. If your order fits in a Flat Rate Priority Mail box, I will use that as long as the postage if sent in a regular box would be higher. For smaller orders or items that just won't fit in those Flat Rate boxes, I will use recycled boxes and packing materials. We do rely on a third party to deliver packages from my shop to your door. Given the distances covered and the relative time it takes them to deliver, their service is still a good value.
Do you take custom orders?
If you see something you like but prefer a different color or quantity, please contact me. I am honored to create just for you, when time and materials allow. I work with rescued materials and many of my items are uniquely one-of-a-kind. After payment has been received, I will start your custom order and send you an email when it ships. Custom orders cannot be returned.
Item Availability -
Many of my items are true one-of-a-kind (OOAK) creations, as I prefer to work with rescued/recycled materials, and I couldn’t make them again, even if I wanted to. Most of my items are made available in more than one of my selling venues. I am quick to remove unique items after they are sold, but in the unexpected event that two buyers simultaneously purchase a OOAK treasure, the first to complete the financial transaction will own the item. I will make every effort to find the second buyer a suitable replacement, or refund the transaction with my sincerest apologies.
